This mini-symposium is organized for open discussion on micro/nanoscale transport phenomena and energy-related technologies, supported by a CREST project "Interfacial Meta-Fluidics". We welcome everyone of interest not only on the results of the CREST project but on the future direction of energy-related researches to realize an enriched sustainable society.

"Interfacial Meta-Fluidics" started in 2011, in a research area
"Phase Interface Science for Highly Efficient Energy Utilization" of CREST, JST. This project treats heat and mass transfer at solid-gas-liquid interface, such as evaporation, condensation and adsorption, which strongly influences the performance of various energy systems. A new scientific discipline Meta-Fluidics is proposed pursuing transcendence of conventional performance of the systems by making use of nanostructures of interface.
